3-Day Capoeira Workshop w/Special Guest CM Gui

October Workshop a Great Success!

On October 9th, 10th and 11th Capoeira del Norte hosted our first annual Capoeira Workshop & Training Event in Boise.  We brought our Contra-Mestre Gui de Barros of Capoeira Centro Sul (www.centrosul.org) to Boise from Los Angeles for three incredible days of Capoeira training including music, sequencias, roda, party and even a basketball game!  Several local and national companies offered sponsorship to make this event possible.   

Those companies include:

Also a special thank you to Talitha “Buli Buli” Routson for coordinating the use of the Whitney Elementary School Gym!!!

Capoeira Del Norte – 3 Day Workshop! – October 9th, 10th, 11th

October 9th, 10th & 11th, 2008, Capoeira del Norte will be hosting a 3 day Capoeira workshop in Boise!  This is slated to be an exciting event as our teacher, Contra Mestre Gui de Barros of Capoeira Centro Sul (www.centrosul.org) will be our guest of honor and presiding over the entire event!

If you are brand new to Capoeira or already have experience, this will be an excellent opportunity to meet and be trained personally by world renown Brazilian capoeirista, Contra Mestre Gui de Barros of Capoeira Centro Sul, our home academy.  Gui is an inspiration both as a capoeirista and as a teacher.  Don’t miss the chance to share some time with him!
